Courtney Love Announces 'Hole' Gig |
Despite her current legal problems Courtney Love has announced the first Hole gig in 11 years, although it is yet unclear if they'll still be called Hole by the time of the gig. Co-founder of the band, Eric Erlandson, has been criticizing Love for her use of the Hole name. Even the new website doesn't mention Hole.
It seems the project stems from Love's solo efforts. Nobody's Daughter was to be her second solo album but has now become a Hole project instead. Hole now consists of Love, guitarist Micko Larkin, bassist Shawn Dailey and drummer Stu Fischer.
The band plan on playing in London, Amsterdam and Milan including a gig for the Shockwaves NME Awards. Whether or not Erlandson, or even ex-member Melissa Auf der Maur, will legally dispute the use of the name is unknown for now. |
