Fancy yourself as a bit of player when it comes to Graff art. Reckon you can turn on the skill when it counts. How do you cope under pressure. Can you still do the business when the crowd are against you, jeering you, heckling you? You may be surprised on how you cope in an atmosphere that can be daunting and intimidating. Your opponent could be playing like a bitch, teasing you, making fun of you, we can't guarantee your safety if you don't give the crowd what they want. Still think you're the man. Do you fancy your chances...then read on.
Ok, we have mentioned the worst case scenario, but the picture could be completely different if you really are the player, the big cheese as they say. The crowd could be cheering you, screaming your name. You could be loving the atmosphere and taking it in your stride. Strutting your stuff in front of the crowd. If you reckon you're still talented enough to read on then please do, because you might just be the person who could win the 2010 Brighton Graffiti Competition. This prestigious event will take place in April next year and will be judged by some of the major players on the scene. It's like this; there will be individual and team events. A pure battle with knockout rounds where only the finest survive. A whole host of DJs, MCs, live entertainment and tricksters will be keeping the crowd entertained and make sure the atmosphere is heavy.
There will be a cash prizes for the winners along with prizes from leading clothing labels such as Supreme Being, Fly 53 and Dephect. Along with the money, the treads the gloating rights to being the "man" (or woman) you will get the chance to design a print which will feature on a number of limited edition T shirts on one of the biggest street wear labels around.
